Bowl For Kids' Sake 2011 is Coming Up!
Our Annual Bowl For Kid's Sake campaign, most popularly known as BFKS, is one of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County (BBBSIC) largest annual fund raiser supporting our programs. BFKS is a fun-filled event that provides companies and organizations the opportunity to show their support by raising dollars and awareness to support BBBSIC.
This event is more than just another fund raiser. BFKS presents a fantastic opportunity for a company, organization or group of friends to build team spirit while at the same time helping some of the children that need us most in the Island County area.
Here is how it works: First, a team needs a captain. If you'd like to be a Team Captain, email us at bbbs@whidbey.net or call us at (360)279-0644 and we'll get you set up with all the materials you need.
Second, each team has five bowlers; a Team Captain and four team members. Each team member must raise at last $100.00 to be eligible for our Bowl for Kids Sake T-shirt. (It's easy, just ask 5 of your friends for $20.00 each!) You can even send your friends to this website where they can donate the money online, it's safe and secure.
On the day of Bowl for Kids Sake, you and your team gets to bowl and eat pizza for free, and enter for chances to to win raffle and door prizes...all the while helping Big Brothers Big Sisters match kids and caring adults.
