Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County

SOUTH WHIDBEY - The Big Brothers Big Sisters Helicopter Golf Ball Drop on Aug. 29 was a big success, thanks to the community and our dedicated volunteers and sponsors.

More than 1,000 golf balls rained down onto the Useless Bay Golf and Country Club driving range, and Ginny Coyle won $1,000 when her ball landed closest to the target.

With the money raised for our agency, we will continue our mission to match mentors from the community with children in need of a positive role model.
